Understand triggers.
Every flow starts with one trigger. The event must arrive, its filters must match and the required permissions must be ready.
1Steps
- Use search or categories in the trigger picker.
- Set the time, battery direction/threshold, connection name or notification filter.
- Start phone event monitoring from the app.
- Test a disabled example first; a manual test does not prove automatic event delivery.
2Limits
- Start monitoring in the Settings section for live phone events and grant the required permission.
- For more regular timing, you can allow alarms and reminders. Android may still delay execution in battery saver.
- Write the tag ID or bring the tag close to your phone while this screen is open. NFC trigger works when the app is open.
- Sender names match separately from message text. If the app does not provide sender details, the filter does not match. A display name is not verified contact identity.
